Basic knowledge about growing
 
Hey there, if you are on this page most likely you are a fan of pot. I know I am. One of the best things about pot is its availablility(especially if you grow it yourself). This page has some simple instructions on growing and some tips that i found to produce better pot. So if you are at all interested in growing, read this page, and take notes.

Allright, the first step in producing some good pot plants is to find good seeds. So just dig thogh any really good bags of bud you get and salvage any seeds that arent cracked or anything.
I recomend that you put the seeds in a wet paper towle for a few days and put it in a warm place to germinate the small plants. If you do this you can be sure that they will develope into a plant that will survive.
After you see that your seeds have some roots coming out of them put the into some good soil. Potting soil works best because it is high in nutrients and it drains well. Also, you want to keep the pH of the soil fairly high because a lower or acidic pH tends to produce a male plant wich is a not favorable trait.
Put you container near a good light source, like in a window or if you are growing in secret in a closet with a few blacklights or neon lights about 5 inches from the surface of the soil.
After your seedlings sprout, start to water on a regular basis. About every 4 days works fairly well. Note: if you live in the city were water is chemically treated I recomend using bottled water. you can use miracle grow once a week after the plants are about 7 inches tall if you want to grow them faster.
Once your plants are 7 or more inches tall growing is just a matter of keeping your light source the same distance from your plants and watering them well.
